Bashful's Twin!

Well, after the outpouring of support for my first post...I've been a little shy in writing.

But, my find last night was so good that I just had to share.

While searching petfinder.com for cats in my area (just for fun, Tracy won't let me get another one :-( , I found a beautiful cat named Maxine. She is a long-haired Calico and is located at the Animal Shelter just blocks from my house. AND, I'm convinced she's probably Bashful's daughter or perhaps even grand-daughter (Bashful's getting up there in age!). Take a look at the pics...crazy resemblance, huh? Guess which one is which :-)

I might have to go visit her, maybe I'll take Bashful...

It's only fitting...How this blog got started

I have to give credit where credit is due.

Yesterday, I was showing my extensive photo collection of my cat (on my phone) to a coworker. He knows that I am obsessed with my cat, but even he couldn't believe the amount of cat pictures I have, or how in LOVE I am with each one.

Me: "There she is on the couch, oh, there's another one on the couch. This one's after her bath. Look how CUTE she is!!! Oh, big yawn for a little kitty! Look at her pretty face!"
Matt: "Oh my goodness. You ARE the crazy cat lady. You should start a blog called Crazy Cat Lady and talk all about your cat."

Welllll, that gave me an idea. So I checked blogspot, and unfortunately, there already IS a crazycatlady (who hasn't used her blog since 2003!). So, I was bummed that the name was already taken.

At almost the same minute, another coworker walked by. We explained the situation to him. His response was: "you're probably way crazier than that crazy cat lady, register your blog under craziercatlady."

Lucky for me, that name was open, and here we are today!
